For the most part my problem is not that I choose bad things over good things. Instead, I care too much about unimportant things and not enough about important things. Although intramural flag football is fun, I have given it far more importance than it deserves. I believe Neal A. Maxwell once spoke on this subject. He said something to the effect of, "we often put the things that matter most at the mercy of those that matter least". More often that not that describes my modus operandi.
